I need advice about heart palpitations after tapering off Clonazepam dose 0.5 to 0.375 mg (within 2 weeks).

Hi everyone,

 

I started to have heart palpitations after reducing my Clonazepam dose from 0.5 to 0.375 mg within 2 weeks.

I was hoping that I could do a quick taper, because I have used Clonazepam for only 7 weeks, 0.25 mg twice a day. I also checked at the forum here for advice and everyone agreed that I could give it a try. 

Did anyone experience a similar problem with heart palpitations during a taper and how did you deal with it?

Did you wait until the palpitations disappeared to continue your taper or did you have to reinstate?
