Heart issues

I think the thing that strikes me is that we don't really know how the gut-brain-heart axis is "rewired" by Benzowithdrawal.  Common sense would say, "oh, you are years into your post withdrawal period...there is no way this could be related.  Now you have a legitimate disease process at work."  This may be true...OR, we can theorize that our gut-brain-heart axis has been rewired and some of us will wrestle with heart racing, svt, NSVT, afib, premature atrial contractions or premature ventricular contractions.   In the end we may never know.  But my lived experience is this, I have issues now that I did not have before withdrawal.  And then throw the past 3 Covid years into the mix....and honestly, I can be a hot mess.  Some days I do better than others, but there are days that my nervous system and cardio issues are as unstable as a third world power grid.  I can be rational one moment, then left terrified and in a fetal position.  Just another frightened animal, because I cannot understand what (has) or is happening to me.  I am grateful for the sharing experiences we have here, because the myriad of doctors (neuro, cardiac, endocrine, and primary care) do not understand or believe me.  At best they are patronizing.

Not really something easily understood and few want to even consider. Also there is really little to be done about it unless a treatable issue arises. likely the treatment for a broad group of um idk neurological issues is benzodiazapines :)

Sorry you are in a tough spot.

Currently going through this myself. It's a mental battle everyday to try and keep positive and not start panicking over it. I'm still tapering and suffering with chest/heart issues. But again the drs just tell me it's anxiety/costochondritis, which it could be. But the inner me is not convinced in the slightest. It's not just the heart pain, I'm also having other symptoms that are related to heart problems thrown in the mix.

Is there a book or something I can read online about all this brain-gut-heart axis stuff? I need consoling.
