Does anyone nap when they take their benzo?

I’d like to take klonopin mid day and be able to nap. I’m confused because one time I took it during the day and was able to nap (I usually take it at night).  Several other times I’ve taken it and have not been able to fall asleep yet it makes me very tired.  I’ve never given taking it in the day time a true trial - not sure what to do .  Any advice appreciated
