17 days off Valium now, in a wave

Hi folks,

So I’m 17 days off Valium now (last dose was 2.5mg) - I suppose that’s good news. I’m feeling pretty lousy though with mental anxiety - racing thoughts and depersonalisation, and actually feelings of resignation and depression, chronic worry and over-analysis and really severe brain fog. I feel like I’ll never get better it’s a horrible feeling.

I’ve been waking up at 4am and then struggling to sleep also.
 

This anxiety doesn’t feel like anxiety though which is unsettling as my heart rate for the most part is normal. 
 

Could this be normal feeling like this at this point? It feels so chemical and unnatural. Thanks in advance.
