Lack of sleep improves symptoms, longer sleep makes me feel worse

Recommended Posts

I've been surviving on 2-4 hours of sleep a night for the last 9 days. However, I managed to get 7 hours of sleep overall 2 days ago. I felt even more awful that day. It feels like the days I only get 2 hours of sleep I have more "windows" (very brief, minutes long) than the days I get more sleep. Anybody can relate? What's the explanation for this? I know of "toxic naps" but I still don't understand why naps become toxic.

@[id...], hi, I can relate. For me, it's been the case since the beginning. Can't explain why. I usually sleep well, no toxic naps, but not long just for 4+- hours. If i happen to sleep longer than 5-6 hours, i'm bound to have a "pain day" afterwards. Oh, and i feel better after sleeping for two hours than for 7 hours too.
