Painful tingling

Recommended Posts

[Bu...]

Just started getting this a few weeks after zopiclone CT.

had it intermittently before but now it’s become painful for the first time, in both arms and on face.

has anyone else experienced this? How long did it last for you?

Hi @[Bu...] Yes, just to give you affirmation, I too have the tingling (as well as burning and itching) but all over different parts of my body. So your seems to be the same thing. It appears benzos in general, regardless of which benzo, brings this on. I promise you, it will become more tolerable. This too, will eventually pass.

Thanks. It’s been alternating with tiring muscle twitching all morning. Not sure which is worse- I guess a change is as good as a rest!

@[Bu...] Oh, yes, the twitching as well as jerking too! I forgot about those. I'm at 13 mos. and I no longer have the twitching (or jerking). I do find the tingling ramps up to just about intolerable when anything provokes my anxiety, so I avoid any and all situations that potentially cause my anxiety to get bad, at least as much as possible to avoid anxiety.

Jerking is why an irresponsible doctor first put me on benzodiazepines…..

it is heavenly to imagine a time without it……

thanks for your support
