Has anyone tried hydroxyzine for anxiety/insomnia?

I’m one of the people who reads all of the bad things online and never tries the meds prescribed. But wondering if anyone has tried it, at what dose , and has it helped at all in any way? I crushed up a 25mg tablet and taking around a quarter of it now. Hoping for nothing horrible.

Yes I hav. It's pretty safe med. It can little help little anxiety or sleeping problems.

@[He...] I was given Hydroxine, Altenolol, Lamotrigine and Ramelteon one after another, to help me with the withdrawal symptoms. None of them helped me. I don't remember the dosage. I don't want to be on medication anymore.

Yes. I took hydoxyzine for a couple of months at the end of tapering +, 50-75 mg. Seemed to be helping to sleep a bit.
