When do you start the count?

When do you start counting time? I had begun counting months/days when I jumped. Then I noticed some were starting their count when they started their taper. Now I'm just confused! What do you all think?

1. When you jump from your last benzo dose?

2. When you reached the point in your taper when you started getting sick?

3. When you started your taper?

Now I count from the last dose (jump-off)

While I was tapering, I counted from when I began to when I ended.

All I’ve heard is when people are completely off the benzo!

I count from when I jumped. 3 weeks tomorrow. I didnt really start to feel the withdrawal from my last jump until a week ago.

Yep, from the jump day.  (Tomorrow is my 11 month off anniversary.)

Hi @[Bo...], sweet of you to remember! Honestly I was starting to freak out a little because I’m almost at the two year mark and of course hoped I’d be better. I have more good times though, for sure! When I feel good I think, wow, I’m better! Then I feel badly again and think, wow, I’ll never be completely better. I’m doomed. I even started thinking, I’ve felt awful since April 2022. That’s a loooong time. But I’m going to go back to my jump on August 30, 2022. It’s better to start my count from my jump date! How are you doing? What’s your road been like lately?
