Day 85 without Clonazepam. I actually woke up well rested after about 7-8 hours of sleep! I was starting to get worried because I slept so poorly during this past week. I really needed this! I wish you a great day 🫡💯❤️

That was so good to hear this a.m. ;) oregonlady

I haven't suffered from insomnia at all though. If you look at the big picture. Sleep hasn't been perfect and far from it, but at least I slept sooner or later 😃

Touch the wood😅 I've noticed it. But it's soo enjoyable to wake up well rested after about 7 hours of sleep, especially when you began feeling worried about it some time before. Benzo withdrawal is notorious for poor sleep and it's always good to see it getting better:)

Something strange happened today. I'm staying at a friends house, and there's a yard outside this house. The parents in the neighborhood send the kids out to play soccer in the yard in early morning (and apparently to scream very loudly) 😅 This yard is surrounded by four houses, so the screaming really wakes you up! This happened today, so I bounced out of bed like a freakin' fireman. This brought me a cortisol rush like the ones I had 2-3 weeks ago, but worse! So I started sweating and my stomach went bye-bye instantly. I thought the cortisol rushes would be gone, but apparently I'm still super sensitive to sound. Is this normal being 86 days out?

@[in...], yes, quite normal. You can call it smth like a "Stress-related brief&short step back" Our nervous sistem might stay sensitive very long regarding  stress situations, weather, foreign substances etc and we should take it into account and take care of ourselves. But, by my experience, such steps back never last long.

Are you ok now? Hope, at least, the kids enjoyed their screaming happily to the full:)

Day 87.

I woke up with this intense back pain today accompanied by some anxiety. Wohoooo! I'm still going swimming though (in about 25 minutes). I really want this nightmare to be over soon! I hope you'll have a great day!

I hope the swim melts that back pain away, it should take care of the anxiety, right?

It did. At least for the moment.

End of day 87 without Clonazepam.

I have some extreme pain in my muscles. Is this because the muscles have been so relaxed during my time on benzos? Now that I don't use benzos anymore my muscles are starting to wake up maybe? Am I totally wrong? Thanks 💯🙏

@[in...] I’ve read that muscle pain can be a withdrawal symptom. I did a search and found hits on muscle pain. Possibly others will stop by to provide information. Hope you feel better soon.

I think you're absolutely right.

This symptom is very expectable and quite common. My muscles are still waking up and they used to be very good ones. It's not at all necessary to have this issue as long as i do. Hope your muscles will soon be back to normal:)
