I had a frightening experience, was using benzos to deal with ptsd, anxiety etc, however due to my own would not recommend, abrupt discontinuation, went into withdrawal, delirium,psychosis was in hospital for 3 weeks and had to be ok. 40mg daily to stabilise.

Due to my determination not to self medicate, to get off, I came down to last 2mg tablet and jumped off 2 months after leaving hospital. 

It's been so hard, I can't remember how, my husband tells me of psychosis, I was manic also, dissociative identity. 

I'm living with further ptsd on top of complex ptsd, certainly not ready for talking therapies, paranoid, agoraphobic and sociophobia etc...

Anyone experience ptsd or have advice?

Please work patiently with medical and right advice for you.
