Beta blockers are very much psych meds. They are more often used to treat other conditions but have a profound effect on the nervous system.

Well, I honestly cannot say whether I agree or not. I guess we would need to define a "psych med." Is chocolate a psych med? I think it is. Is exercise a psych med? Same, almost as powerful as Prozac. Who knows if it isn't better?

Maybe you're right. We'd need a doctor to decide, however. Doctors prescribe them off-label for psychiatric conditions. I don't know, really. They don't alter one's consciousness in a way, do they?
