Help me taper clonazepam please.

I’m a former recovering benzodiazepine addict. I was on them for 7+ years.. managed to get off.. recently had a child and post partum depression/anxiety stuck hard after one trip to the emergency room I started taking klonopin (the ones I had leftover) AND I got prescribed Ativan.. and I switched back to Clonazepam. I started taking it because I was very confused and couldn’t sleep, however I noticed that it is making my confusion 10000x worse and I have tried to find a dose that works to stabilize like 0.25 2x daily, 0.5 2x daily, 1 2x daily, and I even tried 2 mg last night and I completely felt like I was losing my mind. I recently found out I may have early onset dementia.. so I can’t think clearly and the Benzo’s are making it worse… I have been on them for about 2 months now maybe less. I really really need help getting off… I want to do it on my own like I did once before. But how much should I cut and how often? I have 2mg pills… how do I split them? How do I taper off? I tried making a cut the other day and ended up feeling like I was seizing or having an aneurysm the center of my brain hurt so bad and I couldn’t think at all… I don’t want to die from these pills.. please help me off

I’m sorry you are having such a tough time. I also need help withdrawing on my own since I can’t find a benzo-knowledge doctor. I want to make tiny adjustments, like a tenth if a milligram at a time. Has anyone used a micrgram scale and had succuss? I think I will have to crush pills and maybe use a water taper method to get the tiny adjustments that I will be able to tolerate. Any experiences with making tiny adjustments successfully?
