Ativan .125 ➡️ Diazepam 1.25 -Help Please

Hello - I’m being switched to Valium to taper.  I’m currently at .125 Ativan and uncomfortable my doc is switching me to Valium 1.25 (she told me to start at 2.5 but I’m starting lower).  She is completely removing the Ativan at this point and replacing with Valium.  I need some feedback: 

At this dose and fully replacing Ativan am I at risk for seizures ? 
 

If it were you how long would you stay on Valium before you began to taper ? 
 

I’m terrified of this so any direction is greatly appreciated 🙏🏻

I’m a bit confused why you would cross over at such a low dose? If it were me I would not consider crossing over. Many people get ready to jump between 0.5-1mg of Valium. At this late stage I don’t think the benefits outweigh the risks of crossing over.
