How to taper smaller amounts from capsules

Hi I'm tapering gabapentin. I hav problem they are in capsules. So what is best way make smaller doses? They are 300mg capsules and I need 150mg dose. I hav diamond scale. Thank you guys!

If you hold one half of the capsule and then twist the other half, you should be able to remove all the powder inside the capsule. Then you can weigh the powder and take half of it.

You could dissolve all the powder in 100 ml of water, and then drink 50 ml to give you a 150 mg dose. Just make sure the powder is dissolved evenly in the water.
