auditory hallucination is horrible

i mean i don't hear it when i'm awake. but when i'm about to fall asleep, I hear buzzing, ringing sounds or some kind of melody. It is very very annoying. what kind of sound is it?

when my symptoms are reved up, like they have been this week, i actually will hear my kids saying something to me upon falling asleep.  i know they arent, but i have to open my eyes and try to fall back asleep hoping it doesnt keep happening.   one of the many truly bizarre symptoms.   wishing you the best~~~~jill
