In terms of something practical and to the original point of @[Fa...] ‘s post, do they ever talk about going linear at a certain point? I myself am at .225 Clonazepam and considering going linear.

No, the Maudsley Deprescribing Guidelines do not talk about ‘going linear’. The steps in the regimens are based on receptor occupancy (RO) not dose.

For example, the moderate taper regimen has up to 2.5 percentage points of RO between each step with reductions made every 1-4 weeks (or you can microtaper by dividing the change in each dose by 14 or 28 days).

From a total daily dose of 0.24mg clonazepam, the steps are:

0.24
0.2
0.18
0.16
0.14
0.12
0.1
0.08
0.06
0.04
0.02

@[Ma...]  That is all we can really do.  I can make all the plans in the world, but I can only do what I can do.  Always boils down to listening to our body...and, I'm so tired of hearing that and even saying that.  But, it's the truth.

Ok, this is basically a linear taper.  It’s a reasonable series of steps, I was just curious.  Thanks.
