Hello, 

I just joined Benzo Buddies. I was too scared to come on here when I first went off my Valium cold turkey last year. I was afraid that what I read might make things worse. Sadly, things are really bad. I don't want to scare anyone or trigger anyone but I am terrified out of my mind. I do not want to reinstate but I am wondering if I should. I also really need community. I tried to message other members but I get a message that pops up and says I have 0 messages left to send or something like that. Could someone please help me reach out to me? Also, please let me know your thoughts on reinstating a benzodiazepine. For a quick background I was on and off Valium for 25 years, with daily use for the last 10 years until I stopped cold turkey. I was also on Ambien, which I tapered far too quickly. Thank you.

@[Sa...], hello and welcome to BenzoBuddies! It's good you're posting on BB forums. We're really glad! In my opinion, it's the best decision if you need support and advice concerning Benzo induced issues. I'm sure other members have lots of things to share with you.

How did you feel prior to quitting benzo?

Why did you decide to come off it?

What are the most torturous symptoms you're dealing with right now?

When did you taper off of Ambien? 

Any other medication at the moment?
