The public comment period on the first national benzo tapering (deprescribing) guideline is open through July 19.

This guideline will impact how clinicians treat their benzo patients for at least the next 10 years.

The draft guideline does not reflect the lived experience of patients who have been harmed by benzos and inappropriate deprescribing practices.

Patients with lived experience need to speak out now!

Benzo survivor and advocate Angie Peacock is hosting a Zoom session today at 12 noon EST to help members of the benzo-harmed community submit comments on the draft guideline.
