Terrible depression after relief

Well, I had two evenings of feeling surprisingly normal. My first windows in a long time. And now the depression is absolutely devastating again. It is so hard to live through this.

Would you call those windows random, or do you feel you were able to bring them about? It can be viewed as good news either way.

If random, that proves that you indeed are showing signs that this long wave may finally be coming to an end.

If you brought it about by having a positive perspective after a therapy session with a benzo coach then that shows that you have the power within yourself to bring about change. Try to think back on what thoughts or cbt skills brought you relief and continue to out effort into them.
