Drowsiness

Why am I sooooooo drowsy on Klonopin. Should I take it earlier like at 5pm instead of 8 pm. I feel like it stays in my system forever. Anyone else with this issue.

Hi @[fr...],

Since these meds are CNS depressants, they can just really make some people really drowsy.  I see from your earlier posts that you've been on this for a few months, but I didn't see how often you take it.  If it is once a day, then you could try slowly changing the time to see if that helps.  Also, tapering is just an exhausting process sometimes.  Have you lowered your dose recently?  If so, that may be a part of it too.

I take it once a day 0.75 mg in the evening. Started at 1.5 mg. I will take it earlier.
