Long day at the airport

Anyone done this in withdrawal before? I have the drive 90+ minutes to the airport, get there two hours early, 4 hour flight, and another hour drive to get to my final destination after landing. I am 9 days off a taper from very long term use.  My flight is about 3 weeks from now and the whole thing sounds like torture.  The return trip will be just as bad but if I can make it through one way I can do the other but I get constant anxiety thinking about it

Do you mind sharing some of your history with us? What benzo were you using and for how long? How fast was your taper?

There are other members that have dealt with travel issues while in WD as well. How you manage may be dependent on which symptoms are prominent right now.

Hi @[mi...], wow, just reading about your intended travel makes me anxious for you!  I'm fully recovered but to take a trip while I was dealing with symptoms would have been too much for me to handle.  Is this trip absolutely necessary?
