5 years out

Well I don’t believe in healing anymore. It’s been 5 years since I tapered off. I have ocd and Ive been stuck in my head every day forever now. I probably would be fine if I had avoided certain people and not read into the process as much. I sabotaged myself. There’s no miraculous healing. Do yourself a favor and don’t read into this as much like I did. Avoid toxic people if you can.

Thank you for your opinion and experience. I'm sure there must be people who'll find it helpful and should take into account but we're all different. As for me, the more i've been learning about benzo, possible symptoms and others' experience, the better. I find it useful to know what to expect and thus, not to be afraid of it, however weird, torturous or long term. Absolutely agree about toxic people.

I'm so very sorry to hear you're stuck but really believe with all my heart you must get better in the end! Everyone heals at their own pace. Good luck to you!
