Success story tapering from Ativan to Valium?

I am still tapering and not even close to half way but if you're asking about switching from ativan to valium i can say i did that successfully and it help me a lot, being able to do a micro taper and get mild to moderate symptoms and get rid of interdose WD.

The only flaw i see about valium is the oversedation and depresion tendency, i was on a low dose, only 0.5mg ativan when switched to 5mg valium so for me it wasnt as bad but i would advice you to avoid day time doses, i would take a single night dose, i made that mistake cause i was getting huge interdose WD symptoms and i went for 2 doses a day and i had a lot of problems in the morning dose, i only could taper from both doses for 2 weeks and i had to start tapering all from the morning dose since then to avoid low blood presure, dizziness, lightheadness and oversedation, and that worked well, i also splited the morning dose in 2 and i take 1mg and the rest 2 hours after, luckily i am at 1.18mg and i am about to stop splitting the dose and by the end of the summer i could get rid of the morning dose. But if i had to do it again i would go for a single night dose.
