Hypnic jerks help!

Anyone who has had hypnic jerks.  .how long did they take to resolve

I had them in my acute and mabey a couple of months after..

My arms and legs could also bounce away and i accidentally kicked my mother when i sat at the kitchen table.

Thank you. Everytime I start to fall asleep I get a spasm somewhere.

Well it happens at sleep onset.  It's flipping awful.

I get it when I start to fall asleep juring the day sometimes. I'm kind of glad in a way because it stops me having a daytime nap then waking up all screwed up.

Same here. But I have it in the mornings, after waking up with the usual panic attack around 3-4 am. Then if I try to fall asleep jerks party is starting.. And after this I am feeling like shit, jelly legs,shaking, fatigue, depression, etc. 3 months now and there is no relief.. And I am still on benzo. If there is a real Hell this one should be in the tortures list🤮
