Smelling Hallucination?

Recommended Posts

I have never had visual hallucinations.

But yesterday and on Sunday, my nose could suddenly smell something that I ate in the morning when I tried to sleep. I was so horrified and checked my nose and mouth to see if I have any stuff around them but they were dead clean since I always wash my face before I go to bed. And I experienced it again last night and it was so scary. How the heck could I just smell something that was not there? This CNS is going crazy.

small amounts of odor from your stomach most likely. you arent hallucinating. I had hypersensitivity to smell for a long time. I think many have sensory hypersensitivity. i could smell things in a room that others only smelled when very close to things. musty clothes or basements really bothered me.

It will pass as you calm.
