Myofascial pain and painful knots after 3 years off benzo

Recommended Posts

did anybody experience bad pain as a form of knots or trigger points in upper body after 3 years being off? My original symptoms started to get better at this time but suddenly 2 months ago this pain started from no where and is bad enough to interfere with my daily life. Walking for more than few minutes could land me in the couch for hours and sometimes for days. It is especially in my back and moves to either my neck or shoulder blades or sometimes my legs. I am not sure if this is related to withdrawal. Can phisical pain start after years of being off?. Anyone has ever experienced this and if so does it usually go away with time?

The knots create a muscle memory and need worked out.

Do you think this pain could start even after 3 years out?

Did you take any meds prior to this reoccuring that you can recall or have any changes in your life?

Absolutely nothing, that's why I am wondering if it is all related to the withdrawals.

Anything can happen, even years out. The best remedy for thisis deep tissue massage, it does work. Also whatever stretching you can tolerate will help keep muscles from getting tight. Sorry your going through this.
