Vagus nerve stimulation

Hey everyone,

Had some bad adrenal surges this morning which always makes me feel awful as I was tired and wanted to sleep. Horrible. Anyway I've been looking into Vagal nerve stimulation either manually or with a non invasive machine. But I'm confused and concerned because on one site it suggests and connection to GABA receptors. Can anyone help with this?

there is some calming effect from this especially for some physical symptoms. it is not a miracle cure but it also wont have a deleterious effect. it really helps with tension for me and i recommend it. especially the cranial nerve stuff(neck and face massage etc).

From what I have read there are several exercises you can do (like lightly holding ear lobe amd making circular motions) to stimulate the vagus nerve. Just don't expect instant relief after only one session.

The benefits may require you doing the exercises regularly and may come on gradually.
