Anyone relapsed after successful taper?

Was Xanax free for 13 months after a 2 year taper, but the Insomnia destroyed me as a person, I simply could not function had to stop work and many months unable to function as a partner or parent, caved and was prescribed Ambien and Xanax about 4 months ago, till I started getting terrible side effects 3 weeks ago, been Ambien free for 4 days now feel better but the insomnia is back, will start my taper again of xanax, I feel defeated.

I honestly don’t think there’s any shame in that bud,.I’ve had insomnia for over 20 year and it was the exact reason I started Valium 

also man the stuffs so phycological addictive if you’ve used it for sleep etcbefore,Ive been in the exact boat for the 4th time now

i feel an absolute goof an all for going back on but I had my reasons at the time
