Can I take Tramal for pain for 1-2 days and not mess with the withdrawal process?

Hi, I have a tooth infection. Have been to a dentist today and he drilled a hole and said the pain will fade slowly, but its currently driving me up the wall. Im considering asking him for Tramal (never had it before) because the strongest non-opioid prescription medicine doesnt work. But is it safe? Im about 2 months off Diazepam and Zolpidem now and things are going pretty well, all considered, dont want to mess that up. Thanks!

While tempting I would stay away from Tramal.

Have you tried Mefenamic Acid? Dentist gave it to me after removing a wisdom tooth.

Also rinsing the mouth with lukewarm saltwater helps.

Pain gel applied to the surrounding gum provides some relief.

Hang in there, it will pass.
