@[An...]I hope you don't mind me asking, how long have you been on benzodiazepines, and on what doses? Have you experienced any issues when trying to stop them? Do you have any negative experiences with other psychiatric medications? 

These would be very useful to know for our members, they would be able to help you better.

Hi, @[An...]. Welcome from me too)

I took propranolol at the end of my benzo taper and for the few first months of the acute phase, almost nightly. I doubt it can cover symptoms of the withdrawal but found it helpful, anyway.

As for librium... I've just googled. It's a benzodiazepine, the oldest one. I never heard it was used for tapering. I'm not sure it makes sense to substitute one for another but i'm not an expert. Good luck to you!)
