Been taking Xanax for 6 days

I’ve been taking Xanax for 6 days is that long enough to put me into with drawl ? Last time I took them I had taken high doses for about 15 days and had blurred vision and severe vomiting , kind of scared to have those same issues what can I do to prevent it this time

My guess is that 6 days of xanax can hardly give you any withdrawal. Perhaps you may have a kind of reaction and about a week long taper can mitigate it. But whatever reaction you have, the withdrawal you get after a longer use will be worse. In my opinion, the sooner you are off benzo the better. Tricky pills...

You say the last time prior to this one you reacted badly. How long have you been taking benzo all in all? What intervals between its use?

Hi,.yea you’ll probably just be a bit sleepy for a 2-3 days and brighten up pal,I honestly wouldn’t make a habit of doing this,.that’s exactly how a benzo addiction starts and you don’t want to be there pal believe me

Yeah I would just stop taking them and stay off them for good. Given the short length of time you've been on them you should probably be fine in a week or two.

Like everyone says it is probably wise to stop as soon as you can. Many people find each subsequent round of benzo use to be more difficult to recover from than the previous.

Since this is your 2nd time on Xanax you might want to come off before you hit that 2 to 4 week mark where the potential for physical dependence greatly increases. What were you put on Xanax for?
