Will Azithromycin affect my kolonopin taper?

I am currently tapering off of kolonopin and I also take 900mg gabapentin. Would azithromycin (z-pak) cause more withdrawal symptoms or not? I know Azithromycin is a gaba-a antagonist but I don't know to what degree and I know that kolonopin attaches to the gaba-a receptors. Does anyone have experience taking these medications together or could give me some advice, my doctors don't know any of this stuff. It's there a better antibiotic for people tapering who also have chronic bronchitis and or pneumonia? Please advise, and thank you!

I don’t have personal experience with azithromycin but I’ve read about members who do ok with it as well as members who do not.  Like just about everything related to benzodiazepine use/withdrawal/recovery, what works for one individual may cause issues for another.
