I am wondering the reason you are wanting to reduce klonopin - for example is it no longer working so well? It is beneficial to have your doctor on board with your plans, this is often tricky & unfortunately their knowledge of tapering can very often  be lacking.

Having already made a reduction & sometimes taken additional klonopin at night, as needed, will probably cause some difficulties. This may be behind the anxiety. Keeping to a regular schedule is best. This will help your system & keep things stable. 
Stability is key to embarking on a careful slow, steady incremental reduction plan too - & I am sorry you are experiencing anxiety/not feeling good.
