Need advice

Hello, 

any advice or suggestion can help me at this point please. I was put on Xanax 1 mg nightly until I developed interdose withdrawal. I went to see a psychiatrist and switched to Valium to 20 mg. As I started tapering, I’ve had all the classic withdraw symptom, but nothing can top the acid that travels from my stomach into my mouth and rotten away my teeth. I dropped to 10 mg over 6 month. I complained to my psychiatrist about the acid, eating away my teeth. He decided that maybe he can switch it up to Klonopin and see if that symptom will stop. Unfortunately, it made things even worse and the acid gotten even worse. We switched back to 10 mg Valium but now I can’t stabilized and it’s been two months the acid just got worse I can’t taper and my anxiety is 24 seven and I can’t do anything. Did I Develop paradoxical reaction.?  Should I call Turkey and let the acid eat away my teeth and say my life is worth more than my teeth and mouth or what should I do I’m lost? Thanks!

The acid reflux stopped after I was off for a couple of months.

Maybe consider a ppi, finish your benzos taper, then taper the ppi?
