PAWS Ativan

I was on ativan for 10 weeks total including taper going from 2 mg to jumping off at .25. I have been of since Sunday. My akathisia has been acting up badly since yesterday. It didn’t even start immediately after stopping. I had akathisia prior to the benzo from one dose of 25 mg seroquel. But it wasn’t as bad before touching ativan sadly i wish i stuck it out. How long does the worst of this last? Roughy how many weeks?

That's a million dollars question. Last time i came of benzos 7 years ago I was in acute wd for only 6 weeks, no paws or bind. This time i been off 5 month's and still have issue's.

That you used it for only 10 weeks of course makes it a greater change you coming out of it quicker

@[ne...] thank you. i am hoping you’re right since i wasn’t on as long the only reason im worried is due to the prior med damage but that i also took once and a lot of people on here seem to have experienced polydrugging too.
