Long Holds for Tolerance Withdrawal?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

As stated in previous posts I started on 3.5 Ativan in November of 2023. It seemed a failed updose as I was already deep in tolerance withdrawal.

In January my psychiatrist told me to cut to 3.25. I did. It felt not too bad but two weeks later he told me to cut to 3. Big NO. I stayed at 3.25 for about a month and felt “okay”. Still having my twd symptoms and accumulating some withdrawal symptoms.

in February I started a water taper but it gave me reflux. I was at 3.20. After two weeks I felt alright and didn’t want the reflux so I cut my quarter in half so I am currently on 3.125. First week. Some wd symptoms.

But back to my main question would someone in tolerance withdrawal, and I mean DEEP tolerance withdrawal benefit from long holds or do I move at a two to three week pace?
