At 1 mg of generic Klonopin

Recommended Posts

I’m down to 1 mg of generic klonopin, and feel fairly stable. I still wake up not wanting to get out of bed, but once up I’m ok. I still have anxious thought but otherwise ok and no physical symptoms. My question is how to proceed and when should I expect things to get worse? I’ve been at 1mg for about a week. Also, how much longer, time wise should I expect to finish while doing the taper properly.

sincerely,

Rich

Hi. It seems to be different for everyone so it's really hard to say. Good to hear you seem to cope well atm anyway.

Your plan in your history looks good. Don't rush. Go by symptoms.

Clonazepam is long acting so give each cut at least two weeks. Imo

You're looking at 5 half lives for a med to leave your system and the half life of clonazepam is around 30-40 hours per the FDA or 18-50 hours per Dr. Ashton. Your system may take longer to show withdrawal symptoms. Take it slow. I believe Dr. Ashton said 5-10% every 2-4 weeks which aligns with @[...]'s thoughts.

Glad you're making progress!
