Reinstatement failed help!!!

Hi,

i was reinstated at 40mg of Diazepam last week (10 days ago), and I already have a hard time sleeping and waking up with withdrawal symptoms. Not gonna lie. I am freaking out and now I don’t know what to do. I was splitting my doses 10-10-10-10 during the day. What do I do? I start feeling the full body akathisia as soon as I wake up, don’t sleep for more than 7 hours, etc. I am scared beyond belief. I know I’ll have to start tapering like.. now.. I need help and direction. Before the flagyl and Ativan (0,5mg-1mg/day), I never had that problem. What the hell is this mess I got myself into? Help..!!!!

Taper. Don’t stop taking it even though it’s only been a week.

Your system is extremely sensitized right now so 1 week could equal a much longer time period.

 I made this mistake and have paid for it dearly. Please taper and just hold on!

How do I taper from here? I know I’ll have to do a quicker taper. I can’t follow the Ashton Manual cause it would be on a about a year. Where do I start? I have no hope. I am so scared.

It probably won’t be a year! Go to the taper thread and ask for advice there.

Someone with a lot of knowledge will help you.
