Help with taper in Atlanta area ???

Hey community... I believe my psych. is expecting me to taper to to fast. I went front 2mg Klonopin to 1.5 to 1 mg to 10mg diazepam down to 4 mg in about 6 months. He wants to take me down to 2mg diazepam in 10 days and im not stable..I'm afraid he's not going to hear me out as he mentioned he wishes he could give me a PLACEBO because it's all in my head. That's bull! Any doc recommendations in or around Atlanta that actually understand and respect a patient taper. Thanks!

Oh that was very unprofessional of him to say. At least it sounded like he won't actually do it.

Any way you can talk him out of street you in the taper? You done very good my friend.

I've read here that nurse practitioners can be more symptomatic to our needs, you might look for one.  This website attempts to keep track of doctors who may be helpful.
