Confused ashton manual ?

Hi guys so im really confused on the ashton manual so theres a part where she says that its ok to have some caffeine and little alchohol during withdrawal but then theres a list where she says that saffron , caffeine, and alchohol is dangerous im confused ?

Hi ns i have no problem with sugar i take it once in a while and gives me no wave at all but i still dont dare to try caffeine but today i tried saffron and it gave me a tiny wave i heard it effects the gaba did i ruin my recovery? I cant stop thinking about it :/

@[...] You have a very valid point, I had the same observation/confusion.

This is speculation from my side, but we have to take into consideration that the Ashton manual involves experiences from people who went through - most likely - a relatively stabile, controlled taper compared to ours (many of us tapered too fast, C/Y, etc.).. I am pretty certain that we have a more sensitive nervous system.

I would be careful for the time being with caffeine, strong tea and alcohol.  

So I would rather pass on the above. As for sugar, I would consider a moderate consumption. 

Try to gather your own experiences regarding other food/drinks. You will enjoy these for a long time after you recover
