Making a cut again after a long hold and scared

Recommended Posts

So I’ve held at .5mg of K for about 2 months now and I HAVE stabilized, no symptoms of WD right now at all for which I am blessed. My history is that I tapered pretty quickly last July from 1.0 mg down to .375 in about 4 months and had awful WD around .4/.5.  My psych suggested I updose to .5 to stabilize and it’s worked.  But he didnt give me guidance about tapering again.  Feel ready to cut again but scared.  I handled 10% cuts before ok but think I never waited long enough.    I feel like the cuts always caught up to me, even small ones and I’m not sure how long my body takes to “stabilize”.  I don’t want to wait two months between every cut but am very happy with how stable I’ve been.  Anyone hold longer between cuts with success?

Instead of holding longer between bigger cuts you can make smaller cuts more frequently. For example you can make 5% cuts every two weeks. Generally starting off with 5% cuts every two weeks is within the safe range.
