How many people have had issues with brand changing? They changed my lorazepam to Teva and I had a horrible day yesterday

BreeB, hi, had issues with my lorazepam but it was before teva. It was during the supply shortage. I've been tapering off since. Can no longer take it. I think it is an allergy to it or paradoxical reaction but I did wonder if it was the pills because it started during the shortage. They still make me sick and I'm having terrible reactions to it.

I have heard of brand change causing a bit of reaction but usually you get used to it after a short while.

I'm sure that's the case.

Oh I'm sorry. I hope you can get used to them soon.

No worries about the brand, I was just curious.  Hadn't heard of this is all.

Take care

Just thought I would briefly weigh in here.  Everytime I get a new perscription filled, it seems I have a new manufacturer.  But, if I have pills left over from my previous perscription, I cross over to the new brand gradually.  First, swapping out half my afternoon dose, then half my evening dose, then half my morning dose.  Then following my whole afternoon dose, etc.  I did this because of reading previous posts about problems people had switching brands.  So far I have not had any problems when switching from one manufacturer to another.  But, who knows if it is my method or I just don't have problems switching?  Anyway, I offer this idea as something people might try if they are encountering problems.
