Other than the list shared with you on your previous thread it's incredibly difficult finding providers who are knowledgeable about tapering. That's why most of us end up here. I had to teach my doctor about tapering unfortunately. Everything I know about tapering I learned here by spending hours and hours reading and educating myself. If you can't find a doctor to help you, we can help with the process.

Hello, @[pg...].  I’m sorry you haven’t received any responses.  We may not have any currently active members who live in the Pittsburgh area.

Like @[je...], I had to educate my prescriber about response-guided deprescribing.  Fortunately for me, she is both open minded and patient-centered so was a willing learner.  (I’ve read here and elsewhere that Nurse Practitioners tend to be both open minded and patient-centered as well.)

If I had to ‘grow my own’ benzo wise prescriber again, I would purchase a copy of this soon-to-be released textbook for them:
