Cold symptoms during withdrawals

Recommended Posts

I seem to have caught a cold from my family. My throat is burning, and I feel out of breath. I found a post of someone that had the breathing issue, too while he had a cold, and said his other symptoms got worse. but it would give me more reassurances if I can know more same experiences while you have a cold during withdrawals. My oxyen meter shows it is 97%, normal again as usual.

Thank you

Hi @[Ka...] - I think it would be wise to contact your medical provider about your cold symptoms.  In my opinion it sounds like your symptoms appeared after exposure to someone with symptoms and that it makes sense to seek input on this as a medical issue first rather than attributing it solely to benzo withdrawal.

@[Ka...], i do feel for you. I had a terrible cold two months ago and it was very unpleasant but bearable, although much harder than a typical cold. And the recovery also took much longer. Luckily i didn't have any setbacks and it even seemed to me that having recovered i got a bit better in my withdrawal process but i'm not sure.

Take care!)
