Berberine while tapering?

Has anyone tried Berberine while tapering? I’m down to 2 mgs of diazapam and was taking Berberine for a few days. Checked with the pharmacist who said not to take it as it may cause toxicity.. so I’ve put that on pause for now.
 

I don’t have long to go but I’m very keen to give it a go as I’ve struggled with weight loss resistance/ hypo thyroid and I’m assuming leptin resistance, especially since being on diazapam.
