Using baclofen during taper

Has anyone ever used baclofen,  I took it yrs ago for muscle spasms.  It's been used for stiff person syndrome with valium and wondered if anyone has tried it during tapering. Thinking if calling my doc to see if he give them to me, as with everything else dint know if I can even take it bit I'd like to try it for the tension and spasms. 

If you've ever tried these let me know and how did they work for taper.
