Is it possible to dry cut .25mg from 2mg Valium tablet

I’m almost at 4mg Valium on my taper.  I started at 12.5mgs dropping.5mg every 2 or 3 weeks.  I’m really struggling with symptoms and I’m now going to make my cuts .25mg and hold for 2 or 3 weeks.  I’m just not sure my pill cutter is going to be accurate enough or the pill crumbles being cut into 1/8.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  I thought of liquid Valium but I was told only compounding chemists prepare such, and it is very expensive
