Working through Benzo withdrawl

Hi! Has anyone managed to hold a job through benzo tapering and withdrawls? If so, what helped you on a daily basis? Anything helps, thank you!

I worked all but the first 3 weeks after my cold turkey from Klonopin and even thought it was brutal, I’m so glad I was able to.  The distraction it provided was a lifesaver, in fact, I grew to hate weekends because of that.  I wasn’t at my best though, my cognitive challenges were rough so I had to develop tricks to help me function.  

Being around people was tough too so I’d take a walk around the building or hide in a bathroom stall when it got to be too my.
