Valium withdrawal weird symptoms

Hello,i am currently tapperrung Valium,right now im on 2.80 miligrams,i have,like every 2 weeks weerd heart rate,it goes very low (low 50s) im not fit,i was bed ridden for months,made it from 8 mgs to 2.80 from August last year,nausea,diahrrea,weakness,dizzines,feeling like i cant breathe,but for me,biggest concern is sudden droppage at heart rate,is this normal? How do you people cope with low heart rate? For GI issues i take Loperamide,and it helps..thanks a bunch,greetings from Croatia!🌻

I’m glad you’ve joined the forum, you’ll find a lot of good information here as well as support from those who understand the withdrawal process.

Indeed there are a lot of strange symptoms associated with benzo withdrawal. Heart issues can be one of them. I have heard a lot about palpitations and higher heart rates. A low heart rate could also be a withdrawal symptom. Since you have been bedridden it would likely be a good idea to get a check up just to rule our other causes of the low heart rate.

Are you reducing the Valium every two weeks? How much do you reduce each time? We generally suggest tapering no more than 5-10% every 10-14 days. 

For some of us withdrawal can be challenging, but it is doable with a sensible taper plan. Greetings from us as well, please let us know how we can help.

Thanx for replying me..I'm on Valium for 2,5 years on and off,but from August last year,I was taking daily,8mgs,nos im on 2.10 mgs,i am reducing every 2 weeks for 20%,hope to get trough this with smallest amount od damage for my nervous system,i am so affraid of the day when i Will reach 0 mgs..
