Insight on taper

I posted on here previously about how to approach a taper from clonazepam, I didn’t hear anything back so I have pre planned and pre cut a week of clonazepam slightly decreasing each day. I was wondering if I provide the cuts I have set if this is safe? Also if I’m in any danger with the cuts. I’ve read tapering too quickly can be fatal so looking to avoid that.

Hi @[Lu...], can you tell us what your dose is, how long you’ve been on it and if you’ve ever stopped taking a benzodiazepine before?

We typically suggest reducing by about 5-10% of your dose every couple of weeks but using your symptoms to guide your taper will hopefully keep you functioning.
